The Secret of Longevity

ChangSha Senior Medical Research Institute has been conducting medical studies on a group of 100 senior citizens since early 1980. The youngest of the group was 90 years old. The research study has found the following about this group of seniors:

 

they lived an average age of 95.3 

11 of them lived pass 100 years old

7 of them came from families with history of longevity

5 were the first born of their families

2 were the second eldest

 

majority of these seniors practiced the following:

 

they do daily exercise and their own house work

they keep themselves occupied and active

they are positive and optimistic

they carry a regular routine of daily activities

they eat regular and balance meal

they avoid cigarette and consume little wine.

 

The best of all, most of these people passed away not from a long-dragging sickness. They died quickly and encountered minimal pains and sufferings.

 

PS:
Another known secret to longevity is to limit the amount of food intake. Instead of eating a full meal, try to stop at 80% fullness. Scientists discovered long time ago that those mice with 40% less in feed, lived 40% longer.
